Manifesto
The INCLUDE Manifesto for Equity and Diversity in Biomedical Research sets out a shared commitment to transform biomedical research through equity, diversity and intersectionality. Developed by the INCLUDE Consortium, it calls on institutions, researchers and organisations to recognise and address the structural inequalities that shape scientific knowledge, research environments and health outcomes. By signing, you join a growing community working towards a more just, accountable and equitable biomedical research ecosystem.
The Manifesto can be endorsed individually or on behalf of an institution, organisation, collective, network or group through this link.
We also invite you to share it with your networks, encourage others to endorse it, and use it as a starting point for discussion.
The information collected will be used by the INCLUDE Consortium to monitor endorsements and, where consent is provided, acknowledge supporters.
Policy brief
The INCLUDE project will issue a policy brief providing evidence-based recommendations for policymakers, institutional leaders, and funding bodies, and focusing on strategies to strengthen gender equality frameworks, improve data collection, and implement effective policies in biomedical institutions.
The INCLUDE Policy Brief is expected in October 2026.

Toolkit
The INCLUDE project will issue a comprehensive collection of guidelines, training materials, and best practices for institutions implementing inclusive Gender Equality Plans (GEPs). It will provide practical tools for addressing gender biases, ensuring intersectionality, and sustaining long-term institutional change. The INCLUDE Toolkit is expected in December 2026.
